During the Champions League’10 ZipDial offered a unique number for fans of Sachin, Harbajan Singh and Zaheer Khan. Additionally, there were numbers for fans to pray for the team and cheer for a 6, a 4 or a wicket. The number was promoted along with other mass media campaigns of the team.
During the first 5 days of the campaign the ZipDial channel had 40,000 fans dialing regularly. The fanbase on ZipDial grew as big as 3% of Mumbai Indians’ Facebook fan base of 1.3M built over 2+ Years.
